This webinar will discuss how the new reality will play out in scheduling and planning public transportation and provide some detailed examples of exit strategy exit scenarios.
January’s public transportation service looks unimaginable today. The ridership numbers, the goal of running full buses, the congested roads. Nowadays, this looks like a distant past. Service has been reduced to either weekend service or operates at a lower frequency. Yet lockdown will soon be over (or already is). As public transportation creates post-COVID-19 exit scenarios, new requirements will need to be dealt with: different congestion levels, delivery of essential services, crowding control, scheduling according to ridership, and frequent service changes.
