Part of the TPL FVG Scarl consortium, ATAP delivers over 8 million kilometers of urban and suburban service to thousands of daily passengers across Italy’s Friuli Venezia Giulia region.
Luca Piasentier, Technical and Operations Director, leads the ATAP team responsible for delivering reliable services and trasitioning the fleet to electric buses to reduce diesel dependency and emissions.

Challenge
Not all software systems can support vehicle electrification and keep operations running efficiently during the transition.
According to Luca, their previous scheduling and operations system meant the team was “stuck with outdated technology that couldn’t keep up with the complexity of our operations.”
